I am on vacation with my family for the next few days. We are in Florida, and in between rainstorms, we are getting in a little beach time.

Here are a few shots from M & G’s first trip to the beach…

Summer appears to have decided to stick around this time. After all the cold snaps and never ending days of rain, we are finally seeing some nice weather. M & G made good use of it the other night. We worked out in the yard, clearing up a winter’s worth of debris, and they enjoyed every minute of it.

Well, almost.

G was thrilled to be outside. She is going to love playing outside just as much as her big brother. Here she is…all smiles…

But not for long…

M wasn’t doing something to suit her – and she let him know about it…

I’m still not sure how someone so little can be SO opinionated. But, she gets it honest, as they say.

Like I said, old and rusty or not, kids still love this wagon! Is she a cutie or what? Look at those curls!

This is my absolute favorite time of year. The leaves are starting to fall, the sky is blue, and the temperature is perfect.

We enjoyed the weather this weekend on a trip to my parents’. Better get out there and enjoy it while you can – it won’t last long!

G thoroughly enjoyed her first chance to get out and play in the leaves. She and M collected corn cobs from the field. He was much too busy to stop and let me take his picture, but G is slower and can’t get away from me so easily!

I finally bit the bullet and got my business license so that I can take pictures for other people. It is something I have dreamed of doing for a long time, but always in a “someday” kind of way. Well, someday is now. My first shoot was for the daughter of a friend of mine. She is a doll and very photogenic, so she made my job easy! Thanks guys, for being my first *official* customers!
